About

"Water Frequently". That's what the instructions on my sad looking potted plant said. Of course I hadn't read those instructions and so I hadn't followed them. The plant was paying the price for my neglect. So I gave it some water. The next day it looked noticeably better. So, as suggested, I began to water it frequently. It didn't take long for it to become a completely different plant. Stronger, healthier, and I can only assume happier.

I took the instruction sheet off of the plant pot and I put it in my wallet. Then I went for a swim. I need frequent watering. I don't try to think about why, I just know I need it. The more often I get in the ocean the stronger, healthier, and happier I am. Rivers work, Snow works, Lakes works, the Ocean...well.

I am fortunate. I am a Marine Ecologist, I make a living working with water. I live in New England, I can find just about every form of water in a few hours.

"Water Frequently" is a place for me to think out loud. It's place to share some things I love with people I love or with people who love the things I love. Let's get wet.
